At Serenity Scent Candles And Incense Emporium, every order is prepared with care and dispatched with the intention of arriving in perfect condition. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms under which we process, ship, and deliver your orders.
ORDER PROCESSING
All orders are processed within 3 business days of payment confirmation. Each candle is hand-poured and allowed to fully cure before dispatch.", excluding weekends and public holidays. During peak periods or promotional events, processing times may be extended. You will receive an automated order confirmation upon purchase and a second notification at the time of shipment, which will include your tracking information.
We reserve the right to delay or cancel any order that cannot be fulfilled due to inventory availability, payment verification issues, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be notified promptly.
LARGE & EVENT ORDERS:
"For large event orders, holiday collections, promotional orders, and bespoke gifting commissions, we strongly recommend placing your order a minimum of 30 days in advance of your required date. Large orders are hand-poured and processed daily in the order they are received. Bulk shipments may be dispatched in separate mailings. For very large orders, please contact us directly so we may provide an accurate shipping quote and confirm your timeline."
SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY ESTIMATES
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order weight, destination, and selected shipping method. All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Serenity Scent Candles And Incense Emporium is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, customs processing, or any circumstances beyond our control.
Estimated domestic delivery timeframes:
- Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days
International delivery timeframes vary by destination and are subject to customs processing times.
Complimentary standard shipping is offered on all domestic orders over $200. Orders that qualify as bulk shipments under USPS guidelines are exempt from this offer and require a custom shipping quote — please contact us at support@serenityscentemporium.com prior to placing your order."
PACKAGING
Every order is carefully packaged with additional protective materials to minimize the risk of transit damage. Our candles are fragile luxury goods and we take every precaution to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. In the rare event that damage occurs despite our packaging standards, please refer to our Refund Policy for the claims process.
SHIPMENT TRACKING
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. You may use this number to monitor your shipment directly through the carrier's website. Serenity Scent Candles And Incense Emporium is not responsible for tracking inaccuracies or delays in carrier updates.
RISK OF LOSS
All orders are shipped under standard carrier terms. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon transfer of your order to the carrier. Serenity Scent Candles And Incense Emporium is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages once they have been transferred to the carrier. If your tracking information shows delivery but you have not received your package, we recommend contacting the carrier directly and checking with neighbors or building management before contacting us.
DAMAGED ORDERS
If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us at support@serenityscentemporium.com within 48 hours of confirmed delivery. Your claim must include clear photographic evidence of both the damaged product and the original packaging. Claims submitted outside this window or without supporting documentation may not be eligible for resolution. Upon verification, we will arrange a replacement or issue a store credit at our discretion.
Return shipping costs for confirmed damaged items are covered by Serenity Scent at no charge to the customer, provided all required steps have been followed and the claim has been approved."
NON-DELIVERY CLAIMS
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at support@serenityscentemporium.com. Non-delivery claims must be submitted within 30 days of the shipment date. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for investigation or resolution.
INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION
Serenity Scent Candles And Incense Emporium is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout. Please review your shipping information carefully before submitting your order. If you identify an error immediately after placing your order, contact us at support@serenityscentemporium.com as soon as possible. We will make every effort to correct the address prior to dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship to select international destinations. International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping rates. Serenity Scent Candles And Incense Emporium has no control over customs processing times and is not liable for delays resulting from customs clearance.
REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
If a package is refused by the recipient or returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address or failure to collect, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
