Candle Care

A well-tended candle is a pleasure that deepens with time. The following guidance will help you draw the most from every Serenity Scent candle.

The First Burn

Allow your candle to burn until the entire surface has melted to the edges before extinguishing. This takes 2-4 hours. Extinguishing too early causes tunneling.

Wick Trimming

Before every burn, trim your wick to approximately 1/4 inch. A properly trimmed wick produces a clean steady flame with minimal soot.

Burn Time

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.

Extinguishing Safely

Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish without smoke. Avoid blowing out your candle.

Storage

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the lid on when not in use to preserve the scent.

Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Place on a stable heat-resistant surface.
